have you ever been under the knife?. and what would a person saying “I liked the results” mean ? You’d still have to be certain you were substantially like them.
I could say, “Hey, has anyone tried Hostess Cup Cakes, did you like them?” and even if they did… what would that prove?
yes i have. I had vision correction. I had my eyes cut and burned while awake and under no anesthesia.
“liked the results” means that they liked what they paid for. i paid $3600 for 20/20 vision. therefore, i liked the results.
after seeing Tara Reid’s results. I wouldn’t go anywhere near lipo. Her stomach is FUBAR.
You’re looking at one case. and if I am correct, she was very think to begin with, I think when you start out stick thin you are bound to be lumpy afterwards.
yes, it’s one case. one of many
and, it means it’s an actual possibility.
Thanks, but no.
Good point. §.
I have. it was combined with another procedure so I don’t recall the cost for just the lipo. Recovery was not a big deal, I took no painkillers, not even a tylenol.
Happy with the results…
I have not had lipo, but I worked for a cosmetic. surgeon for many years and am very familiar with the procedures- hell, I’ve seen more fat sucked than any human should!
In terms of cost, it sounds like you’ll need 2 areas done (stomach and flanks). The cost really varies by doctor, but you’re probably in the 5k range between Dr’s fee, anesthesia, and operations room fee.
From what I’ve seen, the recovery is pretty rough, but not horrible, especially for the areas you’re considering. I have been told that people feel really sore afterwards- almost like they’ve been beat up. You should plan on taking a week off of work to let the body heal. You can expect swelling and bruising for quite some time afterwards and will not see the full result of the procedure until the swelling goes away, which usually takes about 3 mos.
I will tell you this- this is not the kind of thing you want to go into with a “let’s make a deal” attitude. Good doctors have set fees and will not haggle. Also, make sure they work with a licensed anesthesiologist, NOT a nurse anesthetist. This is NOT something to be taken lightly. These procedures are fairly straightforward and the risk factor is relatively low when done RIGHT. Find a great doctor, even if it means paying a little more- your life could depend on it!
GL with whatever you decide.
